Pair of Anvil Bookends, nickle plated bronze with presentation, dated 1885, to John Fulton, a blacksmith and a Grand Army of the Republic Veteran from Pennsylvania. 8 1/2"l x 3 3/4"t. Very good condition.. Presentation reads in full: "John Fulton Blacksmith retired June 1 1885 Tombstone, AT. G.A.R. Veteran, PA. Vols.". "In recognition of your years of service from your fellow smiths of CO. of Cochise. Every Minors Friend!"
