Chinese Huanghuali Square Table. The table top is made of a large timber square piece thick HuangHuaLi wood. Four braces back the top beneath. The apron under the waist called suoyao, the contracted part of a piece of Chinese furniture, supporting the table top is carved with ripe fruit and flowers patterns. This Chinese table gives the impression of luxury, strong, magnificent, charming and antique, Huanghuali, or yellow flowering pear wood, Originally know as huali or huali, the color can range from reddish-brown to golden-yellow. The sweet fragrance of huali distinguishes it from the similar appearing but pungent-adored hongmu. The finest HuangHuaLi has a translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns that delight the eye. It has distinctive form and elegant ornamentation. It is intact, with exquisite mortise-tenon technique. The top can be put on teapots and other stuff.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
