Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Glass Lid Jar. Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, globular belly heavy on shoulder, round mouth rim, short neck with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in deep white base color which contrast against green fine color, carved of Arabic calligraphy character in medallion surrounded with scrolling flaming vapors. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four carved seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within square line. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
