Description
English MP William Pitt was not a fan of things like the Stamp Act which made him popular in the colonies. When they were repealed the Pitt Tokens expressed gratitude for this repeal. The obverse has Pitt wearing a wig with the words around him saying "No Stamps, The Restorer of Commerce and Trade" Reverse has "Thanks to the friends of liberty and trade" And the word America next to a ship. This one has nice details but background corrosion
