Most celebrated for her paintings of Horse, American Artist Jenness Cortez was born in Indiana in 1944, and is considered one of the most noteworthy revivalists of Classical Realism in the 20th and 21st centuries. Cortez formally began her artistic studies under Dutch artist Antonius Raemaekers, and later attended both the Herron School of Art and the Art Students League of New York.
