A Chippendale carved walnut chest of drawers Philadelphia, PA, circa 1770
(H: 31 1/2 in. W: 21 in. L: 38 1/4 in.)
Condition report:
With vigorous figuring throughout, the top with molded edge, over four graduated drawers, fluted quarter columns to front corners, molded bottom edge, on ogee feet.

Condition report:
likely refinished, although nice even surface throughout; brasses appear period, but some probably repositioned and/or replaced; patch at lock latch to upper most drawer and runner; possibly with replaced support blocks; replaced caps under feet; repaired break to right-facing back foot cap; some minor water spotting to top near front edge; occasional minor scratches commensurate with age and use; a few minor splits to left-facing side of top
