A group of jewelry and accessories late 18th/early 19th century

Comprising a pair of bright-cut silver shoes buckles, by Robert Fairchild (1703-1794), New Haven, Connecticut, both marked to undersides; a silver chatelaine with shield-form belt hook, circa 1810, engraved with monogram "EW," with three three suspended chains, one with ring, another with needle case; a needlepoint pin ball and chain from Chester County, Pennsylvania, dated "1808," with silver fitting and chain; two silver needle sheathes, circa 1760, one heart-form, engraved with monogram "ML," the other rectilinear, engraved with two hearts against a leafy branch, one heart engraved with monogram "MJL"; and a gold and hairwork mourning ring, with gold cipher "PC."

shoe buckles bright overall, with some oxidation/patination to iron elements commensurate with age; chatelaine hook with a slight horizontal split/impression to top of monogram commensurate with age and use, two hooks retaining elements, one hook lacking an element, the needle case without needles, the ring lacking suspended elements; needle sheathes in good overall condition, but would have had something attached to the holes along edges originally; mourning ring tested to be 10 karat gold, the surface with some haziness and areas of oxidation commensurate with age and use, the glass reserve with some light surface wear, some minor oxidation to perimeter under glass reserve; pin ball in great condition overall, the needlepoint cover in excellent condition, and is possibly later than pinball/chain
