Description
Two original B&W 7.5" x 9.5" photographs. 1) United Air Lines Douglas DC-3 Plane from State of Connecticut numbered 938 with two crew members on ground, one may be Bill Platt. Photo is embossed in the lower right corner "Ernie Mack Reno Nevada" 2) Reno Airport view looking Northwest with Reno and Sierras in the distance. Both photos are mounted back to back on brown paper, with pencil writing, possible from a pilot in the first picture as the writing indicates he worked at the United Airlines Airport in Reno from 1945-1964, and points at only one crew member in the first photo with the name Bill Blatt written by the arrow.
