Description
For your consideration is a double-sided, one whole page fragment of "Pantheologia" by "Raynerus de Pisis" printed by Anton (Antonius) Koberger, Nurnberg, 1474. This fragment has beautifully embellished red paragraph markers and highlights and the page measures 18 7/8"(l) x 12 7/8"(w). Chain and wire lines noted on high quality rag paper.
Anton Koberger (1440-1513) printed and published the Nuremburg Chronicle and opened his own printing house in 1470. Not only was he a prolific and important printer of the period, he was godfather to important woodblock printer Albrecht Durer.
Provenance: From a private collection of Medieval and Renaissance prints and manuscripts in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Item is in good condition with no major damage or repair. Edges do show some darkening, creasing and folding at corners. Several small smudges and yellowing/darkening noted on paper. Please see all images and complete listing form more information on condition.
