Description

California multi disciplined studio artist Ruth Rippon (1927-) ceramic vase with figures encircling the entire piece, signed "Rippon" on the bottom, 10.5" H x 4.5" Dia. Rippon attended CCAC, worked with Antonio Prieto at Mill College, worked with the Crocker Art Museum to develop exhibits and secure gifts to the museum. She was awarded in 2008 by the California Arts Council "Artist of the Year". In 1971 the Crocker had a retrospective of her work.
