Antique Italian Vargueno Cabinet on Stand, ebony and rosewood veneer with scrimshawed bone panels depicting Biblical scenes, scroll work borders and bird corner blocks; fold down door covers, an interior of twelve dove tailed drawers and a central door with five interior drawers and secret compartment. Rests upon a later dark mahogany four leg base with cross stretcher, 17th to 18th C., 13 3/8" x 31 1/4" x 41 3/4".[4] CONDITION: Very fine, age expansion cracks to bone panels, and some ink fading, old wood repairs around locks, no keys.
