SIGNED PENNSYLVANIA SHEET IRON 12-TUBE CANDLE MOLD, rectangular form with strap handle and hanging ring, raised on a bold elongated-arch base with side stretchers, excellent old surface. Stamped "J. B. YAHN / BOYERTOWN" on handle. 19th century. 10 1/2" H, 3" x 10 3/4" base.
Provenance: The Phillip M. Sullivan estate collection.
Catalogue Note: Jacob B. Yahn (1852 - aft. 1910) was a tinsmith in Boyertown, Berks Co., PA from the 1870s until 1905 or later. He sold heaters, ranges, stoves and all types of tinware from his shop on Reading Ave.
