Description
A Rare and Dramatic pair of carved wooden idols from a Brujos shrine, with evidence of use, you can see where candles were once embedded into the top of the heads. Such idols are known to have been used by sorcerers in witchcraft and ritual. The tallest idol measures 12 inches tall, the pair were collected in situ in Mexico, 1970 by the a Mr Paul Hendricks, a Museum Curator. Provenance: Metamora Museum of Oddities, Metamora Indiana.
