Additional Information: So this book states itself as being Volume 1. But in over 40 years of selling New York books I have never seen Volume 2. And the Volume is 260pp with its own Index and appears to be complete in itself. Many many vintage photo illustrations showing people of note, celebrities, buildings, events, places of interest. With a well written and scholarly text by the author/ editor of Ridgewood Times. The gray cloth while durable is soiled and rubbed. The paper title label on spine is old,faded and starting to peel. The pages are mostly clean and the hinges while still holding the book are soft and weak. The paper over the cloth hinges is worn and / or cracking. The cloth hinge is visible but still holding. Essentially the book is complete but in what is commonly called "shaken" or well read condition. It is reparable and probibly worth it as book is genuinely rare and very hard to find. The information contained within of great value and difficult to obtain.

Condition

Gray cloth soiled from age. Good only condition but very complete. The front hinge is completely split and the only thing still holding the Front cover to binding are the six threaded strings. So while complete the new owner should have a binder attach a new cloth hinge to the front.
