Description

This nice looking print is for Swett's Proposed Elevated Railway - For Broadway. The print originally appeared in an 1853 issue of Scientific American and Illustrated News. It features a steam powered locomotive carrying a passenger car beneath. These prints, when they appear, are usually colorized, this will be a great chance to add to your collection, a print not often offered up. Did not remove from frame to discover other information printed in corners. Frame measures 24" x 20.5", image measures 11" x 14.5".

Appears in very good to great condition, not examined out of frame.
