From the home of a South Shore, Massachusetts gentleman who was a captain in the US Navy during WWII.
The first Art Glass made by Mt. Washington was called 'Sicilian' because it was supposed to contain volcanic lava from Mt. Etna in Sicily as a coloring agent. This rare glass was developed in 1878 and was made for only a few years.
