Massim Trobriand Offering Bowl, Papua New Guinea. Carved and incised wood with long handle and detachable seated figure. Size: 10'' x 14'' x 7'' (25 x 36 x 18 cm). Together with a group of Indonesian artifacts including: a nose ring, bamboo lime pot and spatula; Sepik dart quiver, pipe, and a spoon. Provenance: Ex. Collection of Shirley and David Rowen, Beverly Hills, California. Sizes ranging from: 3'' x 5.75'', (8 x 15 cm) to 15.75'' x 5'' x 2.5'' (40 x 13 x 6 cm).
