Monumental Emile Galle "Egyptian Lotus" Art Glass Vase
1895-1900, translucent and polished overall, with a carved ruby-red design on a greenish-tan ground, the cut vertical signature within the lower leaves.
Included is a copy of Jules S. Traub, The Glass of Desire Christian (Chicago: Art Glass Exchange, 1978).

Provenance: Estate of glass collector Floyd Vincent, Lake Charles, Louisiana; thence to the consignor.

Condition
**In good condition--no chips or cracks.
With bold and exotic decoration.
The vase polished overall.
The INTERIOR surfaces with soft vertical ribbing stretching the full height of this unusually tall example
(see online photos).
Pontil is ground and polished (dia. 3-3/4"), its perimeter with typical wear.
The book accompanying this vase is in overall good, clean condition.
The dust jacket has yellowed somewhat but is intact with scattered rents and wear to the edges.
