Pair of English Sterling Silver Sconces
hallmarked 1909-1910 by Edward Barnard & Sons and 1936-1937 by Wakely & Wheeler and "E&D", in the Spanish Colonial taste, the backplate decorated with robust acanthus scrolls and fruit, with central oval cartouche and crested by a fruit basket flanked by putti, with a pair of scrolling arms en suite, each terminating in a campana-form nozzle with drip pan, electrified (wires cut) and fitted with faux candles.
