Condition
**In overall good condition. The piece appears to have been French-polished and restored in the past.
The restorations included a number of marquetry and veneer repairs as well as filling some shrinkage
cracks.
Drawers slide freely. Locks are present; no keys. One upper drawer has a veneer loss to its perimeter
banding, about 3/4" x 1".
There are some small spots of lighter finish, presumably from water, most notably to one side of the case.
The light color appears to be in the finish rather than the wood.
