Description
This bank depicts Boss Tweed pocketing illicit money for Tammany Hall. It is in well worn used condition. There is oxidation throughout the metal. The paint is faded but original. You put the money into his hand and he puts it into his pocket. It has the coin grate on the bottom. The mechanism works but works better with heavy coins like quarters. Because of the oxidization lighter coins like pennies and dimes barely move the mechanism. Circa late 19th century. This bank is dated 1875 on the bottom. See photos.
