A George III Scottish provincial silver salt, Glasgow circa 1770 by Adam Graham (active 1763-1818) Of compressed circular ‘cauldron’ form, raised on three cabriole legs with pad feet and moulded junctions. With a scalloped rim and gilt interior. Marked underneath with town mark twice and makers mark twice. Diameter – 6.5 cm / 2.5 inches Weight – 66 grams / 2.12 ozt
