A Napoleon III ormolu mounted ebonised pier cabinet of small proportions
Circa 1870, the black marble top above a flowerhead-embedded guilloche mounted frieze, above a panel mounted door with a central oval gilt bronze plaque cast in relief depicting a classical bacchic female figure holding a putto while he is seated upon the back of a crawling satyr, enclosing one shelf, flanked by canted angles mounted with acanthus wrapped scroll corbels , rosettes, pendants and floral trails, 74cm wide x 42cm deep x 101cm high, (29in wide x 16 1/2in deep x 39 1/2in high)
