.540 caliber smoothbore, 34.5" octagonal-to-round barrel, Biringham proofs on the left flat. Percussion lock marked Barnett and dated 1802 on the rear of lockplate. Fox in a tombstone over IB under the percussion drum. Brass butplate with Three screw sideplate brass serpent, iron triggerguard. Walnut stock.

Condition
Barrel is has been cleaned an is a gunmetal grey with crisp markings. Rear tip of lockplate is broken. This more than likely an assembly during the period of use.
