Chinese Qing Dynasty TongZhi Blue and White Alum Red Cranes Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring mouth rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of flying cranes through vapors and scrolling ruyi clouds. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years TongZhi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
