Antique Chinese Zitan Hardwood Carved Arhat Day bed. Its made of first-class hardwood, huge rectangular and sturdy. Ornately open-works carved backrest, wide rectangular hard mat and both arms panel carved with scrolling dragon. The whole supported on legs of rectangles square section joined by stepped stretchers on hoofed foot. This Chinese Arhat bed gives a strong and antique impression of luxury. It has distinctive form and elegant ornamentation. It is intact, with exquisite mortise-tenon technique. The zitan wood display smooth lustrous dense hardwood with dark purple-brown hues patina and feathery fine grain.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition, with normal anomalies in nature, natural wood imperfection, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent; Normal consider ages and wears.
