Chinese Qing Dynasty GuangXu Famille Rose Pomegranate Porcelain Plum Vase. The porcelain potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in black base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of ripe pomegranate fruits interspersed foliage, interlocking tendril and auspicious petals. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
