Description
Manner of Royal Vienna (Austrian, 1718-1864), late 19th to early 20th century. Group of two red cranberry ground and parcel gilt porcelain urns with pate detail comprising: an urn with a reticulated lid, having a scene titled, "Paris und Helna" and signed "Piemer", and an urn with artichoke finial lid and a scene of bathing maidens. The first titled and with a blue beehive mark, the second with a crossed and doted beehive mark. Approx. of the tallest, h. 15" ("Paris und Helena").
Condition
Restoration to lip of urn with bathing maiden scene; no other apparent chips, cracks or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
