Austrian Silver Traveling Dressing Kit

Marked '.800', monogrammed for Count & Countess Konradsheim, Graz, Austria; in a fitted case.

Comprising:

A pair of candlesticks (weighted)

A dressing mirror

A pitcher

A basin

A pin cushion

A table bell

A pair of scent bottles

A pair of circular toilette jars

Four rectangular toilette containers in four sizes

A hand mirror

Together with a silver plate hairbrush

The basin 14 in. diam., 60 oz. approx. weighable, (15 pcs).

Count & Countess Konradsheim, Graz, Austria. Sold Stair, October 15, 2011, Lot 758.

Condition

Overall wear. The silver with oxidation and a few areas of encrustation. The mirror plate is spotty and there is a break to the wood support. One of the candlestick nozzles is bruised. The pincushion fabric is very worn and the pad is loose. There are a few minor nicks to the glass. The brush bristles have been cut or are lacking. The case very worn with splits and losses.
