Description
CHINESE BRONZE VASE, lobed baluster form with lily top and blossom-shape open handles to shoulder, integral stand. No markings located. Deep chocolate patina. Accompanying receipt states "Ming Period"; appraisal states "XIX Century". 10" H, 5 3/4" D rim, 4 3/8" D base.
Provenance: From the Joseph and June Hennage collection, to benefit the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
Purchased from G. T. Marsh & Co., San Francisco, CA, 8/31/70 (retains receipt and appraisal).
