For your consideration is an antique KPM Berlin parcel gilt and hand-painted porcelain cup, saucer and dessert plate. The cup measures 4 1/8" in height and displays a high arching handle and ample gilt decorations. The cup measures 4" from handle to opposite rim. Amongst the heavily gilt decoration is a beautiful deep red floral decoration in a concentric pattern. The interior of the cup is almost mirror-like as the gilding is pristine and of the highest quality. The saucer measures 5 3/4" in diameter with a slightly upturned rim while the dessert plate measures 7 1/2" in diameter. All pieces carry the underglaze blue KPM sceptre mark while the cup and dessert plate carry additional marks which may be the decorator's cipher. The set weighs 1 pound, 3 ounces.
