Description
FRENCH GILT-DECORATED METAL AND PORCELAIN MINIATURE STAND-UP ILLUMINATING CLOCK AND MINIATURE BRACKET LAMP, circular-form face with white ground, lightly engraved numerals in black with four dots between for quarter-hours, fitted in a scroll edge cast-brass frame with slightly curved feet, reverse of face with attached clock mechanism in non-working condition, frame with attached hinged foot and bracket cup. Fitted with a colorless Olmstead-type font, single-tube burner and opaque white chimney-shade. Circa 1890. 6" H, 5 1/2" D.

Condition
Very good condition, porcelain with some light wear and wear to black lettering, clock mechanism housing with splits. Font and burner undamaged, shade rim with a small chip and flake/roughness to the exterior.
