A Chinese cabinet with lacquered front and brass hardware, circa late 19th to early 20th century, with an open shelf above two doors decorated with scholarly objects. Remnants of an old wax seal remain on the back panel.

Good condition. Structurally solid with a nicely aged patina-- board edges and surfaces worn smooth with age, lacquer decoration darkened and rubbed away at the edges, and old cosmetic scratches and scuffs that indicate the piece's history.
