Description
1980's Joe DiMaggio and Pitchers Who Gave Up Hits During 1941 Streak Signed Baseball. Rightfully concluding there was no shame in surrendering base knocks during the greatest streak in Major League history, half a dozen American League hurlers join the Yankee Clipper on this unique signed OAL (Brown) sphere. DiMaggio himself rightfully claims sweet spot honors, with Bob Feller, Hal Newhouser, Al Milnar, Elden Auker, Denny Galehouse and Mel Harder filling the side panels. Each pitcher notates his autograph with details of the game(s) in which he was victimized. All ink is 9/10 or better, and ball exhibits some scattered toning but still presents very well. Quite possibly the only such ball in existence. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
