I believe this display form dates to the 1920 through 1930’s. In original condition, the black wood form is covered in black cotton, with a turned wood base with no adjustment to height. A wonderful rose colored corset has been with this display for decades.

There is a stamp that reads: Cavanaugh Form Co. Inc., New York, N.Y. on the underside of pedestal base.

The rose colored corset has floral satin damask fabric on its front panels on either side of its original laces. The band of the corset is elastic in nature and still retains its elasticity. The corset has 2 bands of white leather strips that hold the metal grommets that the laces go through. At the back of the corset there are three more white leather strips for back support.CONDITION

This form is in perfect condition with no stains or flaws that we could see. There are no stains, no repairs and no discoloration in the rose satin fabric.<p<APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS

Dimensions of form : 17-3/4” high in back and 13-1/2” high in front.
Waist measures 20-1/2”.
Measures 8” sloping front to back, and 7-1/4” wide.
Pedestal measures 7-1/2” high and base is 5” wide.
Corset measures 21” in length and 3-3/8”.
