Description
2 Chinese 18th Century Export Famille Rose Enameled Porcelains with underglaze blue details: the first a large single handled mug with cobalt blue ground and a front center medallion of a Lady exposing her breasts to a little Boy; the second a large teapot with a well painted design possibly a story of 2 Young Boys showing a Young Man how to enter a certain Lady's quarters through a certain window. Height of Mug 6 inches (15.3 cm.). Length of teapot from handle to spout 9 inches (22.8 cm.).
Condition
Age related old repairs: the Mug handle re-stuck with blue touch-ups, the teapot with repairs to handle and spout tip with touch-ups, the cover with several cracks now re-stuck with touch-ups to both sides.
