An Eastern European lead bottle stopper, dated 1603, featuring a male head facing right. Above a line, V - U to sides and date 1603 below. Around the outside in an inscription. 1 5/8 x 1 3/8 in. (4.1 x 3.5 cm). Nice oxide patina and within a large Riker mount. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
