having a hardwood case with bowfront and overhanging top, four graduated drawers with bold curly maple figured panels, surrounded by sap grain mahogany banding and retaining appropriate oval brass pulls, molded base raised on original carved bracket feet. Probably Saco or Biddeford, Maine area, late 18th century. Ht. 34 1/2", Top 39" x 20 1/2", Case width 38"

Excellent overall condition, retains fine original high bracket feet. Feet with some old splits and repairs but no replaced wood. Original backboards Replaced drawer stops in back of case. Minor damage to case front edge at second drawer. Fine single board flame birch top.
