Description
Two marine navigational instruments consisting of: an antique oak binnacle (ship's compass) fitted with a brass hood housing a gimbaled compass, flanked on either side by brass arms that support a pair of compensating ball weights. The reverse fitted with a brass marine chart holder, retaining its original brass maker's plaque for DOBBIE MCINNES & CLYDE. LTD. GLASGOW. Measuring 55" high. Together with an early 20th century brass ship's engine order telegraph, measuring 44" high.

Binnacle: is non functioning, losses, repairs. Telegraph: has dents and losses.
