FAMILLE ROSE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' VASE

Height: 12 1/2 in (31.8 cm)
直口，長頸，溜肩，球形腹，圈足。胎體厚重堅實，釉色肥腴瑩亮。口沿下飾一周粉彩如意雲頭紋，頸部繪八寶紋，紋飾細膩，色彩豔麗，裝飾效果極為強烈。肩部飾金彩弦紋，內繪蓮托壽字紋，腹部主體紋飾為祥雲龍鳳，施彩明豔，筆法流暢，寓意龍鳳呈祥。近足處飾仰蓮紋，為光緒朝官窯瓷二品。荸薺瓶製式為清代官窯傳統禦賞之器，光緒初年就大量燒造官窯器，在慈禧五十、六十、七十壽辰又大批燒造壽慶典禮和賞賜所用的官瓷，在嘉慶以後官窯衰落的形勢下，光緒朝瓷器大有中興之勢。光緒朝的粉彩比同治朝的彩薄，顏色略淺談，粉彩器色地也比較精細。底落“大清光緒年製”六字雙行青花楷書款。
