1986 Guernsey Commemorative Silver Two Pounds Coin KM# 48b Proof - XIII Commonwealth Games. The commemorate the thirteenth Commonwealth Games, held in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1986, the Royal Mint has been authorized to strike limited quantities of two pounds silver proof and uncirculated legal tender commemorative crowns. The obverse design features the Maklouf portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II alongside which is the crest incorporated in the Seal of the Bailiwick. The reverse design, the work of Stewart Devlin, features the eight sporting activities in which Guernsey will be competing in the 1986 Commonwealth Games. The center of the design features the new Guernsey Flag , which has the Duke of Normandy in the center. The Flag is surround by a border of Guernsey lilies. .925 Silver. Weight 28.28 gr.
