Framed Homer Pfeiffer 1946 Abstract Watercolor Painting. This is a beautiful abstract watercolor painting of a mountain by Homer Fay Pfeiffer (American, 1898-1981). It is titled "Rock of Gibralter," and was painted in 1946. Loose brushstrokes of muted earth tones come together wonderfully to create the image of a mountain with a lake in the foreground. The painting is double matted with both dark green and cream-colored mats, and surrounded by a wooden frame. There is a wire on the back for hanging. This painting would be a great addition to an entryway or hallway in a modern home.

Dimensions are 29 in h x 32 in w x 1 in d. Condition is good. There are dings and general wear to the frame. The painting has slipped from the mat, and should be remounted.
