Description
Framed Advertisement Poster for 1974 Robert Morris Show. This is a framed advertisement for the Robert Morris exhibition "Labryinths–Voices–Blind Time," which ran from April 6th through April 27th, 1974 at the Castelli-Sonnabend Gallery in New York. In this black & white photograph, Morris stands in S&M gear, a German army helmet, aviators, steel chains, and a spiked collar. It was originally featured in a copy of Artforum alongside an explicit photograph of Lynda Benglis, which caused outrage. This famous (or perhaps infamous) poster is also in the MoMA. This item is a chance to own a genuine piece of art history.
