Description
A Greek silver coin and a Celtic coin. Lot includes a Silver Hemidrachm from Parion in Mysia, c. 400 - 350 BC, featuring a bull on one side and the head of a Gorgon on the other, (12 mm, 1.80g). The second a Celtic Billon Stater from the Coriosolites of Gaul, 1st Century BC, with a stylized head facing rt on one side and a stylized horse on the other. (24 mm, 4.55g). Both attractive examples! Ex Chicago private collection.
