Description
A Roman glass unguentarium, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, the body bell-shaped with indented bottom, the long, slender neck topped with a lightly flared mouth possessing a rounded rim. H: 5 1/2 in (13.9 cm). Neck repaired at base, and the neck and body appear to be from separate ancient examples. Surface deposits and light iridescence throughout. Ex Baron collection, Southern California.
