Description
A lot of ancient terracotta animal fragments from the Holy Land. Lot includes three heads from animal figures, c. 1500 - 800 BC, and includes a ram with curled horns, a goat and a long-necked animal, largest 4 1/4 in (10.4 cm) in height. Also included is a Greek figure of a horse, c. 6th - 5th Century BC, two short, tapered legs remain, H: 4 in (10.2 cm), and last a Romano-Egyptian head from a figure of the sacred Apis Bull, H: 2 1/2 in (6.3 cm). Ex Clark collection, Southern California.
