Condition

The painting does not appear relined, but was tape reinforced along the sides. There is a patch on the verso, an old repair that is visible on the recto as well if you look closely. The verso also has impact damage to the left of the dog’s head, with a near puncture and paint loss. The impact is visible on the verso as well. An old repaired tear is visible in the upper left corner, as well as paint loss (filled in) and there are a number of paint chips along the bottom edge.
