Suit of Armor, China, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), the bright yellow color indicates the wearers were "Xiang Huang Qi," of Manchu, primarily ceremonial coverings for armor made of silk with metal studs, with rivets, brigandine comes in the vest, skirting, and underarm, depicting eight dragons in metal thread, with silk and cotton lining, with a Huxinjing ("Protect-heart mirror") disc, skirting lg. 31 1/2, vest lg. 27, underarm lg. 17 in.
