Description

What a cute idea to have the dog as well as author dedicate this book. Esther Birdsall Darling wrote the story of Baldy of Nome to memorialize Baldy's interesting history, including he and Scotty Allan's six wins in dog sledding. Baldy and Scotty signed on the inside cover and Darling wrote a nice dedication to Mr. Ryland in August of 1920. Original copyright was 1916 with this book being published in 1920.
