A TWO PIECE JAPANESE REPOUSSÉ SILVER SUGAR BOWL AND CREAM PITCHER SET, STAMPED, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of globular form and covered in plenishing hammer marks with repousse and applied decoration in deep relief, centering a nicely detailed long sinuous roaring dragon, with the sugar bowl flanked by two arched dragon handles, and the cream pitcher with one arched dragon handle, verso each stamped with pure silver "Jungin" mark, beneath three-character maker's marks, sugar height: 4 1/4", width: 8", depth: 5"; the creamer height: 4 3/4", width: 6 1/2", depth: 4 1/2", total approximate weight: 28.660 troy oz.
